Local fishing rules MO SRZ Liptovský Hrádok

1. List of local fish grounds

Fishing Ground No. 3-00040-4-1 Belá nr.1a   Partial river-basin of the Belá River from the confluence with the Váh River near the Liptovský Hrádok upstream as far signed on influence to power station above highway bridge at Dovalovo. Another part is above the confluence of the Račkový Creek close to the army bridge above Pribylina til road bridge near the community of Podbanské and the Račková River from the mouth as far as a dam built, 6 km upstream, Dovalovec creek is a reservation up until springs.

Fishing Ground No. 3-00044-4-4 Belá nr.1b  Catch and Release Partial river-basin of the Belá River signed on influence to power station above highway bridge at Dovalovo as far as confluence Račková River close to the steel bridge above Pribylina. Fishing on barbless hooks only.

It is prohibited to fish on a small lake near the Grand Castle in L. Hrádok town.

Fishing Ground No. 3-4730-4-1 Váh nr. 22a Partial river-basin of the Váh River from the confluence with the Belá River near the Liptovský Hrádok upstream as far as the confluence  Boca River near the Králova Lehota goes.

Fishing Ground No. 3-4734-4-4 Váh nr. 22b Catch and Release  Partial river-basin of the Váh River from the confluence with Boca River near the Králova Lehota as far as the confluence Biely Váh and Čierny Váh above Králova Lehota. Fishing on barbless hooks only.

Fishing Ground No. 3-0230-4-1 Boca Partial river-basin of the Boca River from the confluence with the Váh River near the Králova Lehota upstream up to the springs.

2. Protection of fish

From the 1st of October till the 15th of April capture of any fish species is prohibited within all waters.

From the16th of April till the 31st of August is possible to take Brown Trout.

From the16th of April till the 30th of Septemper is possible to take Brook ,Rainbow and LakeTrout.

From the 1st of June till the 30th of Septemper is possible to take Grayling.

Max. 2 fish with minimum size is allowed to appropriate.

Minimum size of appropriate fish is:

grayling  (Thymallus thymallus) 33 cm,

nase (Chondrostoma nasus) 30 cm,

brook (Salvelinus fontinalis) and rainbow (Oncorhynchus mykiss) 27 cm,

brown trout (Salmo trutta) is 33 cm

lake trout (Salmo trutta morpha lacustris) is 45 cm.

3. Within the trout waters it is prohibited

to fish with more than one rod,

to use a live fish as a bait,

to fish using flies except the artificial ones and to use more than three of them,

to use more than one hook when lure fishing using dead fish as a bait,

to do any bait fishing (ledgering or float fishing),

to fish using more than one bait except for using artificial flies,

to use worms and insects of any stage of growth as a bait,

to fish more than three days a week.

4. Day fishing periods within the trout waters

5. Fishing tactics

It is possible to use only spining and flyfishing.

Obligatory fishing tackle:

Elementary fishing tackle of an angler comprises a meter needed for fish size measuring, a dosgorger and a landing net.

6. Quantity of catchings allowed and their evidence

Before starting a fishing an angler writes down clearly without possibility of erasing each single day stating actual date into the Fishing Survey (a part of the fishing permit).

In one single day an angler is allowed to keep, even if fishing within several fishing grounds, at most

2 pieces of a Brown trout,or grayling, or 4 pieces rest of salmonid fish(Rainbow, Char), or 4 pieces a nase or a barbel or a combination of four pieces of the present species, eventually max. 7 kg.

The guest and seasonal permit for salmonid waters do not involve a capture of a Huchen (Danubian salmon).

An angler inscribes caught and kept fish into the Fishing Survey stating fish species, total body length and approximated fish weight. Each fish of species namely present in subparagraphs a) and b), respectively, is inscribed by an angler into the Fishing Survey immediately after its landing. An angler inscribes other fish species after ending or during interruption of the capture. In case of no catch or no keeping a fish an angler records this into the Fishing Survey after ending of capture by crossing off particular cells.

By keeping of allowed number and weight of fish a capture within a particular single day is over.
